A four week course that looks at what stress is and how it might affect your health and wellbeing as well as providing you with strategies for preventing the effects of long term stress that can often lead to more serious symptoms and health conditions.
Week 1 |
What is stress and how it can affect you in the long term. Introduction to techniques/ coping strategies |
Week 2 |
Techniques week- have a go at various techniques and spend the week practising them. |
Week 3 |
Discussion, further practice and spotlight on fatigue and sleep difficulties. |
Week 4 |
How to identify your stress levels and use these techniques as prevention rather than in a crisis. |
Mindfulness Techniques for Children - workshop
Basic mindfulness techniques for children.
Christmas planning de-stress- workshop
A meditation workshop aimed to release any tension that’s built up before Christmas and help you prepare for the big day.
Managing exam stress - workshop
Aimed towards GSCE and A-level students. Strategies including mindfulness, relaxation, time management and study/life balance
Managing exam stress - University Students
Weekly sessions held Christmas/Summer
