Jennie Owst
Jennie qualified with a first class degree from Bradford university in 2011 and in 2015 achieved an MSc in Sport and Exercise Physiology. Jennie is owner and director of the Yorkshire Physio clinic in Headingley, which was established in 2015 and has recently moved to the current newly refurbished clinic on Cottage Road. Historically she has also worked for 10 years in rugby union and league at all levels. More recently Jennie has become part of the British Equestrian Federation’s World Class staff, and was the human physiotherapist at the 2017 Eventing European Championships in Poland for the Gold medal winning team. Throughout this year Jennie is the human physiotherapist at several of the Show Jumping Nations Cup competitions and will be working at the 2018 World Equestrian Games, in the USA.
For the past two years, Jennie has also worked as the Physiotherapist for the Yorkshire Cricket Women’s Super League Team – the Yorkshire Diamonds.
In her free time Jennie enjoys doing all sports; in particular, running the odd marathon and competing her young event horse.
